Don’t Sweat the Holidays: 2 Easy Semi-Homemade Recipes for The Busy Days

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Nestlé. All opinions and content are my own. #JuntosConNestle

We are in the most wonderful time of the year and… the busiest one, too! It’s not even December and my inbox is getting bombarded with holiday invitations from the kid’s school, work, and even from my Zumba class!!!

As much as I love the holidays, I find it more challenging to slow life down each year. You know this is serious when it comes from someone who loves all social things! Yup, the struggle to juggle life during the holidays can be real!

The other day I was talking to my mom about how the holidays can be stressful and asked her how she managed to survive it with four small kids. After laughing about that time when I signed up to sing villancicos for the church children’s choir while my sister performed Mary for the Nativity school play, she said that sitting down to a family meal helped her to reduce the stress.

With everything on the to-do list, the thought of having to prepare dinner can feel exhausting. Mom gave me great ideas for family dinners that won’t be time consuming and still be oh-so-delicious. I am going to share my two favorite recipes that are life-hacks and reduce the stress when the Grinch of me wants to come out during the holidays fiestas!

2 Easy Semi-Homemade Recipes for The Busy Days During the Holidays

There are some easy semi-homemade recipes that are perfect for those busy days during the holiday season. So, don’t sweat the holidays, and try these two delicious options for a semi-homemade meal to share with your family. Remember that you can find everything that you need in Walmart at the best prices.

  • Chopped avocado, 1 cup
  • Crumble feta cheese, 4 oz
  • Rinsed chickpeas, 3/4 cup

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • lace Stouffer’s® three cheese ravioli with meat sauce in the oven for 65 minutes.
  • After 65 minutes, remove the lid and let it bake for 15 more minutes
  • While the ravioli with meat sauce bakes, combine all ingredients for the salad in large bowl. Add dressing just before serving.

Pizza and Spring Salad

For this meal, you’d need:

  • Your favorite DiGiorno® Pizza
  • Mixed salad greens, 4 cups

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Bake your favorite DiGiorno® Pizza for 25 minutes. (For this meal, I chose Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza.)
