We are in the most wonderful time of the year and… the busiest one, too! It’s not even December and my inbox is getting bombarded with holiday invitations from the kid’s school, work, and even from my Zumba class!!!

As much as I love the holidays, I find it more challenging to slow life down each year. You know this is serious when it comes from someone who loves all social things! Yup, the struggle to juggle life during the holidays can be real!

The other day I was talking to my mom about how the holidays can be stressful and asked her how she managed to survive it with four small kids. After laughing about that time when I signed up to sing villancicos for the church children’s choir while my sister performed Mary for the Nativity school play, she said that sitting down to a family meal helped her to reduce the stress.

With everything on the to-do list, the thought of having to prepare dinner can feel exhausting. Mom gave me great ideas for family dinners that won’t be time consuming and still be oh-so-delicious. I am going to share my two favorite recipes that are life-hacks and reduce the stress when the Grinch of me wants to come out during the holidays fiestas!
